Striping
Stripes are the job where we slow right down. A stripe that's a couple of millimetres out at the front of the bonnet is obvious by the time it reaches the boot, so we set every stripe out from the car's own centre line and body lines and lay it by hand. Here's what we do and how we go about it.
Racing stripes & pinstripes
Classic twin racing stripes, single offset stripes and fine pinstripes along the shoulder line. We can recreate a factory-style design or draw up something new for your car.
Bonnet & roof stripes
Bonnet, roof and boot stripes that line up across every panel gap, with the ends wrapped and trimmed neatly at the edges so they sit flat and stay put.
Cut vinyl
Stripes and graphics are plotter-cut in-house from quality vinyl, so widths, gaps and tapers come out exactly as drawn rather than hand-trimmed on the car.
Colour matched to your car
Gloss, satin or matte, in contrast colours or tones that pick up your paint, trim or callipers. We hold samples up against the car in daylight before anything is cut. If you're changing the callipers too, we can paint the wheels and callipers to match.
Placement & alignment
We mark out the layout first, check it from the front, the back and both sides, and only then commit. With the doors, bonnet and boot shut, the stripe should read as one clean, straight line.
